1. Air Force School invites application from eligible and willing candidates for the post of HM (Regular category).

2. Eligible candidates are to submit their application for post of HM along with complete bio-data and photocopies of certificates to Air Force School Amritsar Cantt, Near Gumtala Bypass, Amritsar – 143001 by post or applications can be dropped in a sealed box kept at the Main Guard Room or can be received through school e-mail latest by 23 Mar 26.

3. Mandatory Qualifications

3.1 Academic Qualification: Graduate Degree with a minimum aggregate of 50 percent from any University recognised by the Govt of India / UGC / AICTE. The Graduate Degree should be in any one of the subjects taught in the Middle/Primary classes of that Air Force School. Those holding graduate degrees in any other subject will not be eligible. However, if such candidate holds a Master’s Degree in any of the subjects taught in the School, he/she will be eligible for the post.

3.2 Professional Qualification: A Bachelor of Education Degree or its equivalent from a college/university recognised by Govt of India / AICTE / UGC / National Council of Teachers Education.

3.3 Experience: Teaching experience of at least two years as a PGT/TGT/PRT or at least three years as a NTT or experience of at least two years as Principal/HM of an Air Force School.

3.4 Age

3.4.1 Should be in the age group of 25 to 50 years as on 01 July of the academic year in which the post is being filled. There will be no upper age limit in the case of serving staff of Air Force Schools but they should have at least two years of residual service as on 01 July of the academic year in which they are being considered for the post.

3.4.2 Women candidates and physically challenged candidates will be given age relaxation up to a maximum of five years.

3.4.3 Ex-servicemen candidates who have put in not less than six months of continuous service in the Army, Navy or the Air Force shall be allowed to deduct the period of such service from their actual age. If the resultant age does not exceed the maximum age limit prescribed for the post by more than three years, they shall be deemed to have satisfied the condition regarding age limit.

3.4.4 Candidates with at least two years continuous service as a PGT/TGT or three years as a PRT or NTT in any Air Force School but presently not working in an Air Force School will be given age relaxation up to the extent of such service rendered in Air Force School.

3.5 Language: Should be able to read, write and communicate fluently in English.

It is hereby notified for the information of all concerned that the recruitment process for the post of Academic Staff (PRT and NTT), Administrative Staff (Accounts Assistant) and Helper (Ayah) initiated on 20 Jan 2026 is hereby CANCELLED due to administrative reasons. 3. Mandatory Qualification for NTT

• Senior Secondary with Nursery Teachers Training or Diploma in Nursery / Pre-primary / Montessori / Pre-primary Education.
• Age group: 21 to 50 years as on 01 July 2026.
• Women and physically challenged candidates will receive age relaxation up to 5 years.
• Ex-servicemen may deduct their service period from their age as per rules.
• Candidates with at least two years continuous service in an Air Force School will receive age relaxation.
• Must be able to read, write and communicate fluently in English.

4. Desirable Qualification for NTT

• Basic knowledge of computer applications, especially MS Office.
• Ability to read/write/communicate in Hindi.
• Skills in art, craft, cartoon, caricature, puppet making, music, dance etc.

5. Mandatory Qualification for PRT

• Senior Secondary with at least 50% marks and 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education.
• OR Senior Secondary with 50% marks and 4-year Bachelor in Elementary Education (B.El.Ed).
• OR Senior Secondary with 50% marks and Diploma in Education (Special Education).
• OR Graduation with 50% marks and B.Ed with 6-month Bridge Course in Elementary Education.
• Age group: 21 to 50 years.
• Women and physically challenged candidates receive age relaxation up to 5 years.
• Ex-servicemen and former Air Force School teachers eligible for age relaxation as per rules.
• Must be able to read, write and communicate fluently in English.

6. Desirable Qualification for PRT

• Knowledge of computer applications, especially MS Office.
• Ability to read/write/communicate in Hindi.
• CTET / STET qualified candidates will receive additional weightage.

7. Mandatory Qualification for Accounts Assistant

• B.Com from a recognised university with knowledge of accounts and bookkeeping.
• Typing speed of at least 40 WPM in English.
• Basic knowledge of computer applications, especially MS Office.
• Age group: 25 to 50 years.
• Age relaxation applicable for women, physically challenged and ex-servicemen as per rules.
• Former Air Force School staff eligible for age relaxation up to two years.
• Must be able to read, write and communicate fluently in English and Hindi.

8. Mandatory Qualification for Helper (Ayah)

• Age group: 21 to 40 years.
• Women and physically challenged candidates will receive age relaxation up to 5 years.
• Ex-servicemen eligible for age relaxation as per rules.
• Former Air Force School employees may receive age relaxation up to two years.
